About Internal Complaints Committee
In pursuance of UGC Regulations, 2015 (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal of Sexual Harassment of Women Employees and Students in Higher Educational Institutions) read with Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act 2013, an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) is re-constituted in Chettinad College of Engineering & Technology on 06.01.2026 to deal with the complaints relating to Sexual Harassment at workplace.
OBJECTIVES
- To promote awareness about sexual harassment through educational initiatives that encourage and foster a dignified and safe environment for women on campus.
- To provide a neutral, confidential and supportive environment for the campus community.
- To provide information regarding counseling and support services on the campus.
- To ensure that students, faculty and staff are provided with current and comprehensive information on sexual harassment and assault.
- To uphold the commitment of the Institute to provide an environment free of gender-based discrimination.
