About IQAC
As a post-accreditation quality maintenance measure, every recognized institution should establish an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) as per National Assessment and Accreditation Councils (NAAC) direction. Because quality improvement is a never-ending activity, the IQAC becomes a part of the institution's system and strives to achieve the institution's quality improvement and maintenance goals.

Launched on 29 September 2015. the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) is approved and adopted by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, to rank institutions of higher education in India. The framework uses several parameters such as resources, research, and stakeholder perception for ranking of institutions across the country depending on their areas of operation like universities and colleges, engineering institutions, management institutions, pharmacy institutions and architecture institutions. The parameters have been grouped into five clusters and these clusters are assigned certain weightages that depend on the type of institution being ranked.
